Tom enjoyed many of the gem and mineral shows in Tucson… his second year to attend, and still amazed! Our first few days here we parked at a BLM area known as Snyder Hill… here is a shot from up on the hill looking down on the area. Gotta love an Arizona sunset!
This was a convenient time to get our motorhome on-board generator serviced. Simonsen Generator Service did a great job, and also provided us a place to park with electricity… very close to the gem & mineral shows and shopping, so we told them not to rush! Was a good week of free parking and our generator is like new again!
While in Tucson, we were fortunate to connect with former Fallbrook classmate, Janet Stiles Lewis and her husband, Bill. We had a nice breakfast visit! Also, met up with “Classless Class” RV friends at a little Mexican restaurant… fun to connect again with Janice and Jerry! (Didn’t take a photo that evening with Janice & Jerry, so I “borrowed”" one from their FB page :)
So, now we have moved from a city setting to Roosevelt Lake… a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area and time with friends Alice and Robbie. Here are photos of the lake and our two rigs. Peaceful!!!
The following is an inspirational H.Jackson Brown quote we wanted to share…
“People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost.”
Travel well, dear friends… whatever your road.
Hugs, Dianne & Tom
