Beautiful San Luis Valley, Colorado!

After lots of snow and cold weather through most of April, we are SO enjoying bright blue skies and warmer temps.  We have spent a good past week in Alamosa at the home of friends Marilyn and Braxton... parked on their property (see photos below) and enjoying a bit of time with them (will add their photo later).

Our first visitors in the Valley were long-time friends, and fellow RVers, Bobbie & Jim... we enjoyed a good catch-up visit, shared stories and adventures, and Bobbie helped me a bit with bringing this blog to life but, oooohhh... I need lots of help with learning how to work the layouts, as you will notice below :)  Patience, please, as I am working at this...

We enjoyed time with our youngest grandchildren, Lucy and Obie.  Lucy was two in January, and Obie is four months old.  Such beautiful, happy children!  Daughter, Kayla was down from Cheyenne for the week, so we got a little time with her, also. Kayla and daughter-in-law Kate came with the children to "our house" for dinner... missed Ryan, as he had to work... looking forward to time with him soon!

When passing thru Monte Vista, we had a wonderful visit with cousin Marjie at our rig!

Now we are headed out with RV friends Nancy & Dave for a week exploring Creede, Colorado... probably won't have much cell or internet service where we are, and will update later (after I learn more!!!).  Bye for now...

  1. Have a great time with Nancy and Dave. We've had fun with them. And your blog is really looking good. You do a whole lot more with yours than I do with mine. Such beautiful grandkids.
